How to get to Domaine Foray
- By train
- About 1h15 from Paris: two stops, via Sens, to Joigny or Saint-Julien-du-Sault. From either station, bus L802 stops at ‘Abri Cimetière’, in the village.
- By car
- 10 minutes from the A6 motorway, exit 18. Parking in front of the house.
- By bike or on foot
- Follow the Yonne on the V55 greenway down from Sens, or walk the Via Senonensis towards Vézelay. GPS: 48.00816, 3.32175.
Where we are
Foray is in Villecien, in the Yonne valley in northern Burgundy, between Sens and Joigny. The nearest towns are Joigny and Saint-Julien-du-Sault, with Villeneuve-sur-Yonne and Sens further down the valley.
Around the house: the river for swimming and canoeing, the forest and the neighbouring Château du Fey, vineyards for tastings, and Joigny's old town, all within reach of our six electric bikes.
